This was such a pleasure to read, and I'm glad you explained about the use of both languages.
Your style of writing lends itself very well to this story,
your short, uncomplicated sentences, varied with the longer descriptions, give the whole an easy, readable flow.
The sudden raising of tension at the end of the chapter, is a masterly touch.
Thoroughly enjoyable.

Sounds as if Sheriff Olsen is in for a busy night eh? What more could go wrong at this point in time? It seems as if there is plenty of mystery going on. I'm sort of lost because I have missed a couple of chapters.
