You certainly have found your voice and your character in your prose writing. You seem to be a regular guy, good for a wry joke. Now your pain in the ass boss was a different kettle of fish. He tormented himself with his details. He was a stickler for details. Details nagged at him. I suppose you can say he was a control freak and control freaks don't need friends. I'm sure he wound up everything related to his life before he faced the final moment of truth. He might have found peace because nothing had been left undone. (I'm not sure where Shirley comes in but they do say when there is something remiss; cherchez la femme) Anyway, I like your eulogy. It came straight from the heart.
I hope I got it right. Your off the cuff style can be demanding on the reader. -Ekim777

Thank you for your encouraging and thoughtful review. I should have labeled this an allegory, as it is the biblical creation and the crucifixion as told by Satan. He is a disgruntled 'employee' of God. Jesus was his 'supervisor.'
"Shirley, don't dye your hair." is Satan's lying about telling Eve, "Surely you will not die." The last line signifies the beginning of Christianity. Hope this explains some things. Thanks again for reviewing me. Bill

Trees and mowing grass? I'm thinking, Who's gonna rake all of those leaves, which sucks so much more than mowing. :) At first, I didn't know where the hell you were going with this, and now that I'm finished, I'm pretty sure where you're going. LOL
Great stuff.
Notes:
What are you going do? (Check wording.)
could run around naked he he wanted to...(Check wording.)
I got blame, like always...(Check wording.)

Thank you for your review. I should have labeled this an allegory. The narrator is Satan, retelling how the world was created and about the crucifixion of Christ. I'm quite embarrassed by all of the missing words. I should have let someone read it before hand. Thank you again for reading. Bill

This is a nice piece of writing laced with a lot of latent humour. In death, most people always feel constrained to pay glowing tributes to the deceased, but this is a bit different. Very frank and funny. kudos

Thank you for your kind review. This story is an allegory of the creation of the world and the crucifixion of Christ as retold by Satan, as a disgruntled employee. I probably should have labeled it so. Thanks again. Bill
