Since I don't know what to say about this, I'll keep it simple. I see this is a re-posted piece and sometimes we do that because we like it so much ourselves. I caught onto the theme with the 666. Cleverly written. I do think God has a sense of humor. We can see that in our daily lives. Marilyn

I trot this out around Easter. It always gets mixed reviews from readers. Most people get the persona aspect along with the irony.

Very creative take on the Bible and it's origin story. You really presented it in an amusing way that is entertaining and only offensive to someone who lacks a sense of humor. I would, if I were you, not answer any inquiries from members of the clergy. Just to be safe.

I think you did a good job of giving this a contemporary flavor, fleshing out Satan's personality and putting this in a scenario we can relate to, in a way. It is sort of in the vein of C S Lewis' Screwtape Letters, which was so marvelously conceived and crafted. I think it works. It has a nice comic kind of tone that is fun to read and there is plenty of personality, as well as food for thought, in the writing. It has a changed perspective and that is always a challenge and an interesting change in the world. estory

Loved the tongue-in-cheek approach...wasn't sure what I was reading until mid-way...I think it was the naming of the animals! A bit irreverent but funny! Speech was so normal...don't take this the wrong way but your profile picture was in my head while I was reading it! Say...are you him?
