what a delightful poem, Sandra..
the content, the flow to the
words, and to both rhythm and
rhyme, all excellent.

I love your child's poem of the meaning of Christmas. All too often parents fell to convey the true meaning of Christmas to their children. Your couplets make your well worded poem flow.

Enjoyed this poem very much. The flow was great and would be easy to read to children. I liked the way you brought Jesus into the story and yet kept the fun of Christmas presents and even fairies. Nicely done!

What a nice way to tell children the true meaning of Christmas with out ruining the myth of Santa. I liked the rhyming and the flow was great. The story flowed as well as the meter. Nice job.

How sweet..! This poem reaches out in such simple subtle way. Extremely valid observation. Our kids must understand the true meaning of Christmas. Very beautiful rhyme scheme.

Cute little poem for children about the roots of Christmas.
A few punctuation nitpicks:
smile. <-- needs ending quotes
Toy! <--needs ending quotes

Well, you are the only one who has picked up my, oh so obvious, punctuation misses, and that includes me!! Thank you so very much for being helpful in my review, I really appreciate it, thank you. (I have put in the missing culprits!) I am pleased you still liked it! xsx Sandra

This is such a beautiful Christmas poem for the children. I love your story and how well it progresses along with perfect rhyme and flow. This should be published in a book of poems for children. If you had entered this in a contest, it surely would have won. A perfect Christmas poem, therefore, I had to give it a six star rating. Great job. Bill

Your most welcome. Your poem reminded me of when my children were small. Each year I had a cake make in honor of Jesus Birthday and I would explain why we celebrated Christmas. Now I do this for my grandchildren. It has become an honored tradition within our family. Thank you for sharing your view.

That is a beautiful tradition, how wonderful for your grandchildren to have you for their grandma. The Birthday cake made specially for Jesus birthday makes it even more special. Sounds so much better than Christmas Cake, the translation of Christmas cake,is not to clear for little ones, but a Birthday cake is! xsx

The fairy comes tp remind the children what Christmas is for by asking instead of telling, and the answer is found. The rhyming and flow is just perfect. I think children would be interested in this. Well written. Lees

The History of the creation of Christmas is not as fun-filled of the creation of the smiles on children faces on Christmas Day. This is very well written.
