Hullo Cindy Warren ....
What an amusing thought you have developed in this poem, unfolding for us your ideas as to what Fairies are capable of doing to those who trespass on their preserves.
There is nothing to suggest changing and I thank you for
sharing this with us.
Love from .... Nanette Mary.

Wow, six stars! Thanks! I'm thrilled you liked my poem so much. Those fairies can be nasty when someone tries to catch them. Thanks again for the six.

This was a delightful read. I liked the pace and cadence throughout. Great picture to accompany your skillfully chosen words. I liked the ending best. Very clever and nicely done. Best wishes, Janet

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. The ending was the hardest. I had trouble deciding what their punishment should be for trying to catch fairies. Thanks for this wonderful review.

I'm sure you had good fun writing this one. I like the smooth run throughout the verses. Your rhyming scheme too is a delight for a work of that lenght. Good one

What a great story about fairies, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it! Although it is a rather long poem, the reader is taken by what's happening to Ben and Blake.
It has got very good rhymes and is really fun to read.
Thank you for sharing.

With its excellent rhyming and pacing, this poem will be a great hit with kids under 10, or even someone a bit older like me - lol. Too bad the boys messed with the fairies. Great job!

Great aabb quatrains. Those fairies can be a mess. If you try to catch them, you are in for a world of hurt. Just leave them alone.-Gary

Yep, catching them is a bad idea. It was difficult coming up with a punishment for those two. Glad you enjoyed the poem. Thenks for the great review.

This is an interesting tale about the fairy world.
They can be tiny villains when they get ticked off.
Pays to keep the slat cleared if you're dealing
with those pesky fairies. Great story and can teach
one a lesson...or two!

Those two kind of asked for trouble. It was unwise to try and capture fairies. Glad you liked the poem. Thanks for a wonderful review.

It was all my pleasure!!!

Cute little poem. I certainly wouldn't want to mess with those fairies. I guess those boys should have left well enough alone. Well done.

Yep, those fairies can get a little grouchy when you try to catch them with flypaper and put them in jars! Glad you liked the poem. Thanks for the great review.

I've never known any fairy to be so vengeful! They're usually very nice...at least the ones I've met. What was it that made poor Blake so ill? Were those fairies working some bad magic on him? Or was it just that he ate too many of those "funny" mushrooms...(you know the kind...they make your wheels spin!) Anyway...looks like you've learned your lesson..."Fairies are best left alone."
Fun read!

This was a sequel to 'Too Close for Comfort.' You're welcome to read it in my portfolio. The fairies had already given Blake a warning. They were mad because he and Ben came back to try and capture them. Thanks for the review.
