I give you an excellent review for content and heart! Vance, thank you for sharing such wisdom and depth with all of us here at FanStory! My only critique is don't forget to have someone check for capitalization and punctuation for you. Add some paragraphs to break up your text. It makes it easier to read. I know you have been undergoing some medical testing and I have been praying for you. I hope you are doing better! I trust this fan mail reaches you and conveys my gratitude and thanks with get well wishes and prayers!

When writing a book of any type, the author must take into consideration the audience he is hoping to reach. To me, this piece is one I would have to struggle to fully comprehend its message. I think you should label this writing so only those readers with PhDs would review it.

This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.

Hi Vance; thank you so much for sharing this insightful piece about 'grayness.' I think we all experience our own shades of gray in many areas. Your definition made me reflect on those things, and reminds me to explore exactly what they mean.

I thought your article was very good, and I enjoyed hearing your thoughts. I made some notes as I was reading. Please consider the following.

First, let's talk about your title, "What's grayness really mean" I paused on this. Grayness, what it means. or What does grayness mean?--Just a suggestion.

As a general thought, I wanted to see paragraphs and have you flesh out your thoughts a little more.

The fundamental mechanisims of human creativity are engineered into each new human within their DNA (author's belief) and as such we are separated by other forms of life as being sentient or consciously aware of whatever we may consider "reality". --Spelling mechanisms. I don't think you need to say author's belief, but you do need a comma after DNA. This denotes you have two complete sentences on either side of your conjunction and. Also, recommend a comma after such.

Poetry is a profoundly powerful gynmasium of the mind that demands courageous exploration in to "gray" areas of perception, of "gray" areas of all forms of the arcane sciences and religions, and human species itself.--Spelling gymnasium. I loved your alliteration in the line, you really are poet, aren't you? In the last part of the sentence, I would suggest taking out an 'and and replacing it with a comma. Comma after sciences, delete and.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Take care,
Russell

A very well-written chapter in your book from out of the grayness. It is an interesting concept of our thoughts that come from the grayness of our brain. Where we can either fall into darkness or find the light.

I am in total agreement with your concept of creation and think the expression of grayness, as you expressed here, is profound. Your conceptualization and presentation of it is beautifully defined. I applaud the effort and the sentiment.

This prologue has given me much to think about. If we would just stop and consider that like plants, we too have to lean towards the light in order to be the best we can.

I will be following with interest

This is a very thought-provoking piece of writing, Vance.

We got that sentience and perception ability from our Creator whom, we learn, created us in his own image. The picture you have above speaks for His Greatness, because however much we were created in His image, we cannot come up with anything to equal his Creation.

The more we should be in awe of Nature and preserve what the Creator gave us as a precious gift.

Thanks for a wonderful thoughts.
