I looked and saw eight faces within this rock formation. You have a wonderful eye at photography. Enjoyed your poem as well as you talk of the face, the how how and why of who it is. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for such a nice review. Wow, I've only seen 6. I'll have to look again. Some people find them hard to spot.

Upper right waterfall near darkened reddish edge-A happy face
Upper Rt. corner-nose faces flat rock.
Directly across to the right is a mossy area-mouth open-white hair
Right in front of the mossy area upside down-kinda like a Madonna, eyes, nose and mouth face the reader-No I'm not Catholic.:^)
to the far right -mouth stretched wide
To the side of this in the base of the large highlighted area-there is a side face with chin, nose, cheek and eyes with lips that almost look red
In front of that one is another-it has a scar running down the left side of its face
The darkened area by the water fall-upside down forehead moved back with eyes, nose mustache
The outline of the widest area at top-looks like the old Alfred Hitchcock profile
I have always had an imagination in seeing things within things. Even patterns in floors are game pieces to me. :^)

Hmm. If we're looking at the same thing, I'd say this isn't a person at all. To me, it looks like a bear. Still, I enjoyed your poem, and if I take it as a human, your words pose some very interesting questions. :)

Nice one, my friend.

Thank you you comments. I see you problem. There are about 5 faces in this picture. You focused on the Nose to the left in the water. Try the nose to the right. Under it you'll see a mouth, teeth and tongue. That should reveal a very large and angry Aztek warrior. Hope that helps.

Gentle on the tongue flowing smoothly all the way through. Mysterious, awakens the mind to desire the why of the imprisonment. Very nicely done

It does look as if there's a face, there, in the rocks. I can understand how this might stir the imagination. I enjoyed your flight of fancy. I liked the repetition of "The Falls." Well done, Treischel.

I was impressed by what you said as an interpretation of what you see imbedded in the stone. I see it too as the person is forever buried in stone to watch the falls.

This is indeed food for thought. Could our soul be locked inside the stone, not because of who we are, but because of what he have done to the world the Creator has given us?

A confident little poem, with good meter and a nice flowing rhythm.
Should that be '...mossy granite walls...'?
And could you change the colour scheme? Blue on green is not easy to read, and does weird things to the eyes.
I admire the way you find inspiration in the things around us, many of which a lot of people fail to notice. Well done.

Thank you for the review, my wife had the same issue with the colors and yes it should be mossy. I'll make those changes.
