A lovely poem with a powerful message about our Savior.
I love the flower (Rose of Sharon). It's beauty is like that breath of wind that gave you the words.

Beautiful.

Blessings
Janet

Thank you so much for your review and your comments about the Lord. It's beautiful to read such a lovely reaction-just like the beauty of the flower itself.

My given name is Sharon, for the Rose of Sharon, my Grannie named me this. Your sweet poem reminds me that He is carrying me through life, for now, I am lame... I needed to read this and you have given me a corner of faith to park my chair...Big Red. Excellent work and a given poem from a faithful servant of I Am...

You say this poem came to you like a breath of wind, fully formed. In this way, one is reminded of what transpired w/the Apostles during the Pentecost.

You plant a seedling here, which grows into a forest from a single tree.
Christ planted seeds each time He acted or spoke.
May each word of your own be a seed.
Let nothing in life be construed as a joke.

Blessings,
Shane

What a gift and a blessing. Faith, love from the Father above. I loved how smoothly this flowed, and the emotion of faith and love that you shared in the words. Beautiful picture. Blessings

I do like the spiritual take of it. The end of it, the question it poses is perhaps the best part of it. You have a beautiful choice of words :)

not religious type myself,so can only rate this as an agnostic, keeping that in mind, its good that you take the time and trouble to capture the thoughts that inspire you.though it has done nothing for me ,a little tritely fervent and fell away in the last verse, especially the last two lines.but I am not your target reader, those who believe in deities of one sort or another ,and find comfort in them .might find this has deeper meaning and inspire them.to inspire is the greatest gift one human can have.sorry it has not done that for me ,good luck, keep writing that which touches you.after all that's said and done.your the only one that matters.

Thank you so much for being frank and forthright. I appreciate your openness. I had an experience that changed my life and recognise that, without that, I might have the same feelings as you. So for me, it was an experience rather than a religion - which I'm not so fond of, myself. Thank you for your critique of the poem itself and your encouragement.
