In a way, it's true. But we also have anglo-phobic people (French-speaking people that have an ethnic allergy to anything that doesn't come from Paris) and these are our last soldiers. I'm not part of that group, myself.

Great visuals on this one. Sometimes only free verse expresses what we want to say, and though a rhyming buff, I revert to it every now and then.
Great presentation, color and picture. An impressive composition.

Very sensuous, very erotic - far more so than more graphic detail.
Very effective use of those two phrases about being alone in Paris and not knowing "him".
Definitely fits the brief. Sexy, with not a warning word in sight. (Though can "moist" ever have a non-sexy connotation??)

I can see why and how this poem was the contest winner..,
It showed enough passion to ingest it word for word and limited the wording allowing the imagination to go as far as you want it to go. The mark of a well written piece!
