How did you get all the room for the author notes. When I try to post them, I get about a line and a half. It is a very poignant story. The imagery and choice of words build the mood.

This is a very sad poem. It seems like poetry has become your life. That nothing else matters and you see no way out. Maybe the last stanza is your only hope. Could it be time to try to write a humorous poem.
The darkness of the shadows looses the walker like the poet is lost in the words he is writing.
