This is delightful. You whipped up perfection with only eight ingredients. Surely this will win. And if your own was not enough, you included artwork with cookies that melt in your sight.

Cute story! Bigfoot must have found the old man as scary as an old man would find him, but the man had the sense to know that different didn't mean enemy. Glad they had cookies and milk to share. :)

I really hope you win this contest. This was such a fun poem. I could see, smell, and taste the poem. The "skinny dipper" in the lilac towel made me laugh. The fir tree added a subtle quirkiness to the story. Great use of these words, a wonderful tale. Poor bear to faint, but I'm glad he kept the old man company! Good read. Katherine.

Thanks for a good laugh. I loved your unusual take on this contest entry. You've used all the words in such a unique way. I can imagine Bigfoot waking up to milk and cookies.

The Cookie Thief
There's a strange message on your poetry.
I like this.
Civilization should undergo considering
progress of apes and birds.
It is human to learn more about what best
attitude to behave being respectable even to animals.
We will know then why cookies are served.
