What a fun poem/story. I was drawn in by the cookies and stayed for the naked man. It was clear and concise and the message of the host was admirable. Nice job on this.

How funny is this? Here the ape enters someone's house and ends up fainting, scared of the human.
I think those delicious cookies would not just draw an ape but also humans. What a lovely conclusion to this tale, and very fitting indeed. If the ape can faint at seeing a human, the very least his host can do is offer him some of the yummy food, which he does.
YOu have been able to beautifully include the use of the words that are required to be incorporated into the poem, and the result is a comical, and detailed encounter of these two beings.
Very well done!

A hairy monster, and cookies;these two objects blend in together to make a great story;a story in a poem, I especially enjoyed the naked old man in a lilac towel!
This poetic story had me chuckling a big--thank you for providing humour!
"Like moths to a flame"--great simile proving that even huge hairy apes are attracted to freshly baked goods!
Delightful alliteration in the final stanza of"company and cookies";also "happily hoots", ending the poem on an owl's approval of one happy ending--well done, this was a great read

Elaine, They take me to the kichen to make a batch of cookies. And then to share them with someone. This is very nicely written. And I love the picture and the colors are perfect. Good luck!!! Linda hugs

I really like this. Conjured upsome interesting images. First wondering what the creature was. Then laffing at the old man wrapped in lavender. Must be metro-sexual.

Thank you for ending my day with your lighthearted fantasy! The naked elderly man was quite a surprise. I enjoyed your philosophical allegory and the repeat of the owl's hoots for emphasis. -Joan
