This is a fine quatern with the thought and love for summer
ringing so loudely. I think it says the preference of many for summer over winter. I go for your line of 'Warm days keep love from growing cold.'

This was so good! Congratulations on your win! It was definitely well deserved. I loved the creative approach you took to this writing prompt. Instead of taking on a somber tone about the passing of summer you made your poem fun and uplifting. I loved it! It was like a breath of fresh air in the contest. Great, great job! This poem speaks of everyone's, except for maybe skiers, wish.
That summer would never end. But life's sequence would alter to much if this would happen. You also weave a metaphor of love never ending too.
