5-7-5 verse format challenge requires that the syllable count on the first and third line have 5 syllables and seven on the second line. You have a 4-6-4.

A sincere smile will brighten up the receiver's day. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. Good luck in your contest.

You have misread the directions for the 5/7/5 contest
Your three lines have to have a syllable count of 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second and 5 in the third, but your syllable count is
4/6/4
I like your use of alliteration and your thoughtful depiction of a smile :-) Brooke
