We never know what we are going to get for paybacks, but this is a definite get even kind of story, even if it isn't intended to be. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

No good deed or bad deed goes unpunished. Everybody made the cut in this story. Thanks, Ric. Gretchen

Remy's story resonates with me. It brought up memories of catholic teachers' cruelty. I didn't want to go to school. I hated it.i love this paragraph..

"love that were so intense it went beyond words. It spanned time and crossed oceans"

"the moan was louder. It didn't sound like anything he'd ever heard before. It wasn't sad or melancholy, nor did it sound like pain. It sounded like it was full of secrets.".... so good.

I love your scary stories. This one could be a horror movie. It's very creepy. It reminded me of Stephen king 's "Pet Cemetery"

Well done! I love it.

Oh my goodness Gretchen, this is quite a chilling story of jealousy and murder and also some kind of witchery too. It is inventive and imaginative and I enjoyed your tale of horror as it was well written and vivid. Revenge was not so sweet as it ended in more tragedy here, love Dolly x x x

Oh it is creepy alright! For sure. I'll probably have nightmares tonight and hear the words Gawachis over and over...

I normally don't read spooky/creepy but out of respect of being your fan, I did. And I'm glad I did. This kept me intrigued from the start. Never thinking of a relationship of student-teacher and what came there after.

You hooked me into this one! Good writing.

John

Please don't ever feel obligated to read something of mine that isn't your cup of tea. I promise I will not be offended. I'm glad you made it through ... and didn't block it. Gretchen

Yes. This story is creepy, especially if you immerse yourself in the imagery. There were no dull spots and the story continuously flowed. The addition of the word "Gawachis," was an interesting and creative touch. This story is perfect for the upcoming Halloween season.

It is definitely creeping. I'm glad I read it this in the morning light. Wow! You really know how to make things vivid. Poor Remy, always being humiliated.

Poor Reny, indeed. Got the girl of his dreams but didn't turn out the way he planned. Thank you so much for this. Gretchen

Thank you for reposting this. This makes me wonder how many teachers have affairs with students. Often one reads about or hears about it in the news. Yes, it is creepy. Sorry, I missed it the first time around.

That's probably the worst part. Lecherous teacher. Thanks so much for this. Gretchen

Yikes! Yes, this is super creepy, and I couldn't pull away. That's always a good sign.

It shows you never mess with the odd boy in the class; nothing good will come! I loved this one, Gretchen!

Yes it is plenty creepy. You are a good writer, but I not a fan of horror stories. I've written a few but I don't even like to read my own. I can give your an excellent rating on your writing style.

Thanks so much. Horror is not my favorite. I like spooky but this is ancient. Thanks, again. Gretchen

You must have started this great horror piece with a simple 'what if' question in your mind. A great way to start. Simply take the commonplace, bend it slightly and you have a great story.

The word "Gawachis" was great too. Indecipherable when first seen but so obvious when explained.

I noted a problem with the forms if 'its' though.

'... back to it's grave.' The apostrophe is incorrect as this is a posessive like his or hers.
'Remy, it's not Alice.' The apostrophe is correct here as the it's is a contraction of 'it is' and the apostrophe takes the place of the missing letter.
