I thought this was extremely well done and I love the concept of going forward in time to compare attitudes. The humour within the words was an absolute joy and your "naughty cuss words" sat perfectly and were totally meant to be there!

Super poem. super rhythm to it, I love the sixties feel to the language, it brings it back for me, that time and place. I also liked the contrast with where you have arrived now, still with parts of those feelings and ideas of the sixties with you, that same sense of language, but amore mature, mellowed, grown into your obligations. lovely job with this piece ekpoet11

This is so cute. I was never part of the flower power movement, but I was around at that time. The closest I got was wearing a leather vest with 12 inch fringe on the bottom and tying a scarf around my head Indian style. I really like the part from the present about "who needs clothes? I do! 'cause things bounce around a lot more
than before". Unfortunately, that one little thing keeps us from doing a lot of things we used to do. Very nice poem. Brought back lots of memories.
