This is a well written poem about providence. Your words are ambiguous, but it makes it more interesting and thought provoking. Your meter is well delivered. Great job and thank you for sharing.

It is actually a free-verse and has no meter though it is interesting and thought provoking ... when you read it asking you about remembering HITLER see if it seem so ambiguous ... I truly would love to know ...
reply by Dancemom on 06-Feb-2020
Although it is somewhat free verse, I see a meter. Many of the lines at the bottom have four syllables, and you rhymed thought and bought.

After rereading it and knowing you are talking about Hitler, it makes more sense.

The picture of a white horse and Hitler seemed like good versus evil to me, and not specific to Hitler. I thought Providence was talking about God. I am dense with these things though, so I apologize for getting it wrong.

... well i already explained in my reviews which really would enlighten if you were to read at your leisure ... Hitler saw a picture of Jesus Christ on a white horse entitle Providence after staring long and hard at it he held it in his clutches and was heard and recorded exclaiming ... I AM PROVIDENCE!

There actually is no intended metre and it really is a perfect free-verse which can choose to rhyme if it so desires ... many thank yous Bic.

This is a very intriguing write and held my interest throughout. I'm not sure I followed all of it, as it is somewhat oblique. All in all it is a beautiful presentation of your spiritual thoughts. Well done :)

OBLIQUE ... is a very good description whereby this poem is turning from right to left then advancing. The poise of the lines reiterates and deliberates with a good use of the repetition pondering the great magnitude of the question portrayed ... REMEMBER ME ?

The lines, two, considered as the main thrust of the providential catalyst for the mass destruction of power wielding megalomania are descriptive of an almost God like equation reaking havoc with the illusion of The Almighty being the one who is commanding this piece ... it is not the one who we may think ... it is but rather the description of history's long engaged and evil tyranny of an individual who through his elevation in his own mind saw a picture of The Lord Jesus Christ sitting on a white horse with the title called PROVIDENCE ... from this he developed the understanding that he himself was providence and exclaimed the immortal words heard and recorded ... I AM PROVIDENCE ... good old HITLER!!!

The reference to the salvific work is that of the over coming of blasphemous wonderment of the opposing evil that took place in the second world war as a result of the unifying and victorious sacrifice of all nations combining to defeat the great-war machine that was The Third Reich ...

Thanks for the detailed explanation. It helped me understand some of the finer points. I love history but obviously don't know enough about it :)

A very well-written spiritual poem from Revelations and the Whitehorse and the rider was called truth and faithful. He is Providence that will kill our sons and daughters first with his words and then with love.

OOO, this is pretty deep for me, but I do like the way you threaded "providence" throughout your poem. Your dedication "To Heavenly Father and the great salvific work ... " implies this is a prayer/communication to God. It does keep me thinking.

AAAhhhh! Prayer and communication ... well it certainly needed a lot of that to thwart and stop this individual who became providence itself and personified the great apocalypse of the same book of Revelation.

In my opinion, though a spiritual write, it is confusing in its telling - perhaps clarification would end the confusion between punishment and redemption. A work should be self contained in its understanding and not require an additional read elsewhere for clarity, again, in my opinion...

Let me clarify my four stars possibly into five stars ... think of it as HITLER talking to you would this stop the confusion and clarify why he killed with his words then with his love ... It really doesn't need any extra reading to know and explain itself so long as you have its true perspective and it actually is a bit of true five star free verse ... thank you!

This was an interesting poem, and I did go looking at those reviews. I like the lines, I will kill your sons and daughters first with my words and then with my love. I just dislike the word 'kill' it doesn't fit with love. I did enjoy your poem reading your poem, and really like the picture. Well done. :)) Sandra xxx

What was strange going through your reviews was how many of them have now passed over. It was bitter-sweet seeing their names there. So sad. xxx

Well these names belong to history and will be remember in the present and live on in the future because they all made their mark in some shape or form ... HITLERS speeches provided the killing of sons and daughters by his words and through his passion for a new breed of humanity his love also killed many sons and daughters.

This is quite the Biblical riddle. So I found your comment on the first page of reviews: well in this poem I am Hitler...this was actually what turned him into the meglamanic that he was (guess you mean megalomaniac). For more than a year I have wondered, "Dang it, if only he could have stuck to doing art and art sales, what kind of world would we have now?" But one learns from leadership styles and errors and getting polarized in one way of thinking. The stanza about killing first with words then love is the kind of stanza that makes one think and think some more. Interesting post.

Im glad you could say you found it thought provoking ... its meant to be ... the relation between the authors concept and that of the readers can be the one thing that makes the reader to be polarised depending how narrow their own discovery and understanding is between the connection with the piece of poetry ... It is a free-verse with the voice of history and the individual that talks in it is just as vehement as he was in life just wishing to be the one true voice in this world that everyone would worship. With the art of questioning and repetition the delivery of his sentiment is have you really learned anything from what I have done albeit hidden in the past ...

Soooo... providence (the protective care of God as a spiritual power, act of God)... Not something 'religion' can buy or even direct, yeah? The 'church of providence' has not walls, no membership definition except acceptance that, in Christ, it does exist...
But I'm still wondering a bit over: "I will kill your sons and daughters" with words and love... Very jarring after I thought I had sortof figured it (especially with the passage from Revelation). Yes, I read the reviews you directed, but I guess I'm still missing something... sorry.
A beautiful and thought-provoking offering! :) Yvette

Well you know as well as I do how influential some speeches can be and just how imagination can capture an idea from them ... take HITLERS enigmatic charisma and the words he used to try and persuaded thousands of a new world ... it worked right ... first he killed them with his words ... then remember his passion and the lengths he went to to make his new world order come to life the industrial revival the employment the wealth the final solution the third riech ... war ... this is how he killed them with his love.

    simple see !!!

Religion -- man made. Salvation -- Christ bought. It is only with a heart relationship that you can tell the difference. Interesting beginning to your book.
