"Here is mercy, my God loved me" is a great line, and it worked well to repeat it for emphasis. This short sweet inspirational poem is a joy to read, and very uplifting.

Who are we indeed. Without Him we are nothing.

Excellent work. You have an unusual writing style, but I am growing to like it. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful thought. My most powerful reminder is Faith to always remember where my Hope springs from. Conversion is powerful. To lay your burdens down is the most freeing feeling imaginable.

Very strong statement of your Faith, in your gratitude to, and adoration of, God.

I see no reason why He shouldn't 'show you mercy', as any God that didn't wouldn't be worth following, IMO.

Best wishes, Ray

I hear you...just shows how ignorant I was, much obliged,

    Take care Earl,
also have a tritarian kiss(xxx) the brackets are optional but the kiss can be what or where you like, because its the sentiment that counts, unless somehow your going to make some sort of sensational love poem out them: in which case all the best,

    Bic.

I have had a considerable amount of mercy bestowed me and I sure didn't
Deserve it.all the times God was there for me and I didn't know it.
Call it mercy call it grace I didn't think he had time for me. My trivial life is not important.
Your poem reminds me that he cares.
Like the placement of here is mercy.
Regards,
- R -

Mercy

You are seeing sinners
on their evil doings.
And you ask for mercy
from God to bless those who have offended you.

Lets get one thing right ernesto,

I was an evil sinner and did ask for mercy, hence, I now ask for mercy to be shown to other evil sinners...

It was more a reflection on my astonishment that God could and would save me, afterall I had rejected him for many years and I did not see my need quite as clear as I should have.

I was to busy enjoying my sin and its pleasure where in reality in Gods eyes I was dead in my trespasses and sins.

Nobody will recieve without some sense of there need.

It would be a bit like me offering you a dollar when you already have all the money in the world...in the words of one sinner, when Rockerfella was asked what he wanted most in this world he replied, "...just one dollar more."

The trouble with sinners is they dont see their need for salvation unless the Lord reveals it to them.

The good thing is though God is both willing and able to deliver,
    much blessings,

    Bic.

Well I hate to confess to being a somewhat lazy agnostic and your poem obviously isn't aimed at me - but I can still accept it as a lovely statement of your personal faith.

Thank you Visionary, maybe one day you might feel the same...we live in hope.

indeed my dear - and when I say I'm an agnostic, know that I always hold the spiritual path open for myself - it just doesn't happen to be the same one as yours. It does not, however, take away my ability to see and appreciate yours, and yours is truly a delight.

Well if you like it that much why not join us...until then happy hunting, and I am glad that you can appreciate the delight that the christian faith delivers, much obliged,
