Thank you Phyllis for all your kind words about my scribbles. I am really having fun trying out all these different forms of poetry. But, that said, would love to have you take a peek at my entry on the prose side in the non-fiction contest. I would appreciate any and all input on the non rhyming, needs punctuation part of my writing. Hope to be able to get back to your book this evening. Busy, busy these days with guests , which is a great thing, but not much energy for anything else. I do like to read when I'm not so tired that I can't concentrate. Thanks again for the stars. I will probably let this answer suffice for the five you jumped on this morning. I am glad you had an enjoyable time and do appreciate all the 6th's. Makes me smile.

Gnome more puns, please! Thank you for taking the time to read and review my words. I had a great romp with it. From the moment I read the prompt and my little voice said, "you don't wanna myth this one," it was off and running. It actually wrote itself and just relied on me for SPAG. As to the sixth star, I know that it is cool to write, "just for myself," but I happen to love applause, adulation and oodles of stars so thank you, thank you!

Just so you know the writer of Sisyphus 2012 was me, Mossmouse. I can tell youno w that the contest is over. It was not a fair fight because I have no idea how to do lisping as well as you do...LOL! You really did great and I was prety amazed at your work.

Actually, I knew who you were and what you wrote as soon as your review came through. There are some severe glitches in the "blind contest" protocol. Your review came in as mossmouse, even though you signed it as Gnome D. Plume, III, I jumped over to your page to learn more about you and there was Sisyphus 2012 listed in your profile. It actually is quite easy to find out who wrote what for these contests and I have mentioned to the PTB's that they should do something to fix it. Shows how much pull I have. Geesh, I've been here a whole two months already! By the way, I thoroughly enjoyed your take on the myth contest challange. He is quite a common figure in today's world isn't he?

Yes, he is I am afraid...I still do not know how to figure out this poetry thing. It seems you have to reveal everything or nothing in your work. There is a stumbling block for the readers if your words do not agree with their view on life. Oh well, I guess I will just have to keep mything you. Mossmouse

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing my words. Actually, there was not a target. When I was thinking up a name for the guy, I remembered Sherman and the "Way back machine" from the old Rocky and Bullwinkle show and the adventures he had going back in time. Not a target, just a character. The only thing I was getting at was a pun fest and a current (another pun) take on Charon,and his ferry service. Hope that helps.
