Thank you for such a nice review, and 'welcome back' comments too. I still find it difficult to visit FanStory while house-guests are here, but my sister is currently visiting her son for a few days, so I'm taking advantage. :p I do love to write, and must when I can. Thanks so much for your always-kind words. Love, Adonna

'love links' is a poem that I believe tells us what has made my favorite poet return with an awaited post. Love is what draws you back to composing, I'm sure. This one is a nice poem, MissM.

Oh, I really like this, my friend. Yes, the links that bring us back
home again to those we love are indeed invisible. What a wonderful
senryu you've written here. I hope you are doing well and am pleased
to see you posting a little more this week.
Connie

This is an example of a senryu that relies on its connection to our hearts as opposed to our sense of humor. It has a good message.

Good job. I really like the imagery in this poem, Miss Merri. I can see a lot of people in a long chain creating a loving family. Great post.

What a lovely poem, missMerri, seventeen syllables, great sentiments. Your poem reminds me of a poem by Sarah Kay called 'B' She says something along the lines of:-

If I had a daughter, I'd draw B on the back of her hand so she'd know how to find her way to me before she could say "I know THAT like the back of my hand"
Great artwork to accompany your well written poem.

Thank you so much for this review. I'm so glad you enjoyed my little senryu. I'd love to read Sarah Kay's poem. How might I find it? Thanks for this. MM

Hi MissMerri, it's one of those poems that's performed. If you visit www.ted.com and type Sarah Kay, I think she's only got two poems on there. Her performance of the poem and talking about her work is 20 minutes, but the poem itself is about 8 mins. Do let me know what you think of it. Regards TM
