I like your poem--a lot;it has an eerie feeling(which I enjoy--I enjoy "dark" themes)so your poem was exactly what I was seeking;a great acrostic;cleverly written;lots of wording all about the dreaded #13--the black background was an excellent choice;haunting and the orange lettering give it a good Halloween effect!I have read that no plane has ever crashed on a Fridaythe13th--I suppose it's possible:)

I'm not superstitious, as you can probably guess. Haha I do know July has a Friday the 13th coming up and I'm sure those with this disease, will be a nervous wreck.

Hi Permelia, Naughtie Scribe organized a fictioanl contest on triskaidekaphobia and it was the inspiration for ny acrostic. Hi Dinah, I did have fun writing this! This is actually the 3rd version I wrote. While I was posting it, it became the 4rth version, because I was still changing the words within it. I wonder if I started this on the 13th? LOL I have no idea when I wrote the first version. I'm glad I finally got it posted! Thanks for the wonderful review and Good Luck wishes! :o) Helvi
