Not only sailors, but how about the many warriors that left to defend their homes and never returned. But back to this, I could see it as I read it. Well rhymed and flow and a warm message. Enjoyed.

I know BC. I have an idea for a story about an Indian Maiden who roams the desert because she lost her love long ago. I heard a song along those lines when my dad brought me to Nevada to join my husband in 1955. It touched my heart and I never forgot it. Thank you for the review. Have a great day. Nancy

Lovely, haunting. A Story told that, I am sure, is true for many maidens that lost their lovers at sea. She sings like a siren, and will forever be waiting for her lover who will not return from the sea.

Beautifully written yet very sad poem. Excellent choice of artwork, nice presentation, smooth flow and great rhyming. I didn't see any errors. This was an exceptional read, if I had a six star left, this great poem would have been rated accordingly. Thanks for sharing.

Oh Nancy, that was so sad! The story is one recognized by many ladies, I expect, waiting for their loved one to return only to be told he never would. So sad.
