Thanks so much for taking time away from your own precious words to read and review mine. Sounds like you had almost as much fun reading it as I did in the writing

This is really very brilliant...I have only played Clue once and I know I didn't have a clue then and I don't have one now, but regardless this gave me a good laugh and feel it is far too corny to say I think the butler did it when I don't have a clue. I wish you luck in the contest - Dinah

The face looks quite distinguished If I may say so!

Well, I must say you have quite a mystery on your hands.
If I were investigating this crime, I'd lock them all
away and throw away the key.

Geesh, what a mess!!!

Fun reading this one.

I truly wish I had a 6 left. This is great! Your fast-moving, clever, suspense thriller creates a scenario in which the primary question is "Did anyone who knew this dude NOT have a reason to kill him"? Your list of possibilities is priceless!

Thank you for taking precious time from your writing to review mine. I had such fun playing Clue as I grew up it just seemed a natural for what one reviewer called my Wagnerian limerick. Thank you again.

this is a well described narrative of Sior Nigel..you portrayed him well in a witty and clever twist..love these lines here..Colonel Mustard loves his rum, and since he gambles, Just to pay his debts each month, he scrapes and scrambles.

excellent!

Thank you for taking precious time from your own words to read and review mine. I was always fond of Colonel Mustard but preferred the Miss Peacock piece for myself. Must have been a frustrated actress even then. This was my first visit back to Clue in years--ever since I figured out how to win every time. But one of my guests brought it to play one weekend and those memories started a series of rhymes that rattled around until I had to let them out. Thank you again. If you saw anything you would change. . .

Yes, In Great Britain it is called Cludeo, here in the states it is Clue. Thanks for taking precious time from your own writing to be reading and reviewing mine.

BRILLIANT ! Oh how I laughed and read it again and laughed. A poetic story of murder and motives and in the end its all a game, fantastic, fun, exciting and very well written with all characters brilliantly portrayed. I enjoyed this very much.

Thanks so much for taking time away from your own precious words to read and review mine. I had great fun writing it--although it was an all night event as once I get started the poem must escape.

A good story, well told. The flow is okay, I liked the part where you jumped to two lines. That sped it up.
I didn't like the lines," Plum his host a lesson taught,
Dining room, revolver, shot?"
Didn't seem quite rift to me. However, good story, good rhyming, good job.

Thanks for taking the time away from your own precious words to read and review mine. I will take another peek at Professor Plum and the lesson taught. I guess I had just written these couplets as the notes the detective took, rather than full sentences, but if that is not apparent and it breaks the flow, that is not good.

I loved every word of this. What a clever write, to take an old theme and turn it into something so amusing, I still have a grin on my face. I haven't a clue who the murderer was, but I do know who the winner ought to be.

Thank you for taking time from your own precious words to read and review mine. I had a great deal of fun with this one. Unfortunately, it began rattling around in my head late one night and wouldn't let me sleep. I finished it with the next morning's dawn and paid for it, dearly.

What a unique and fun poem! I like the unusual writing and rhyming style very much - hard to keep up for such a long poem...eh? And I really enjoyed visiting with the Clue characters. Great job.
