A very well written, but it is a 5-6-7 instead of a 5-7-5. You used interesting allergories. This has a smooth flow of words, making for a good read.

About the 5-7-5 thing, I tink it has something to do with the pronunciation of words in Nigeria.

Hi, I'm sorry, maybe I'm counting wrong, but I've counted 5 syllables in your first line, 6 syllables in the second line of your poem and 7 syallables in your final line.
A 5-7-5 poem should have 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second and 5 in the third and final line.
I like your poem but maybe it either needs a little reworking to meet the 5-7-5 criteria or would be better submitted under another category. Kind regards TMonkey

Very nice words and post. Could use a little color and a picture, but that's just opinion. I think the bottom line has 6 syllables...not five though. :)
