'Love Comes Silently' is a beautifully done poem that tells of two ways love happens, and ends with inferring both can be authentic. I like your words about how love "can soar on wings of blissful song" without limit and be free. Wow, what an exhilarating thought, MissM.

Wonderful love poem...thoughtful idea to cover the full spectrum and then sum it up in the closing stanza. I would suggest adding in one more stanza for love that blooms unconditionally for all (but that's my favorite love-theme--just a thought!)


The prhasing is beautiful and enhances the delivery with gnetle tone;

Love this-
It slips from underneath the rhymes
and steals a heart so tenderly.

Love this stanza, too, especially the closing line:

At times, love comes in like a storm,
a rush, a flood of energy; --good pacing
an unexpected passion born --nice slant rhyme
on sweeping winds of synergy. --superb alliteration and consonance of S


Pitch perfect closing-

But whether love be soft or strong,
a heart that hears its melody
can soar on wings of blissful song
to heights unlimited and free.

Nice love poem! I like the picture you chose, very apt. I'm assuming you know that most of your rhymes are near rhymes, not perfect rhymes. But that doesn't detract from the poem.
