This is a wonderful write, Bev. You're so diverse! You amaze me. This flows like hair-colouring cream out of a tube. I enjoyed it totally. Nikki is fabulous - you could do so much more with her - a whole book full of hair salon experiences.

A great story.I loved it. You have described Fawn so well. Yes, I think we all know someone who is like Fawn. But I suppose if you look under the surface there is a different character.One who is not completely happy with her life, always looking for that little extra.

We know we should put our foot down, but we get suckered in as certain things tug at our hearts. I went to beauty school when I was very young, but never got my license. But anyway, your story was very well written, pulling the reader in from the very start. The dialogue between the characters was well written, entertaining and believable. The end was funny and annoying at the same time. Or I should say, the brat is annoying. Which means you did a great job writing her, because I wanted to smack her. LOL Very well done. Very entertaining short story.
