This is a very interesting Haiku. I just love the author's notes and the dedication also. A poem about strength and pushing for our tomorrow. Very nicely written with a strong purpose. :)

What drives me today?
Its the fueling yesterday.

I like the meaning behind the words. I have a couple of grammar suggestions. I think its should be it's-short for it is. I also wouldn't put a period at the end of yesterday. I think you need that last line to make that one whole complete thought. Thanks for sharing.

Great job for a 5-7-5. A lot of people write them choppy, you did not. It all made scence, had good rhyme,and flowed well. Great job
