That was a sad 5-7-5 poem :( But I think that it fits with the length, as it also shows how fast a life can be taken. It was well structured, and I enjoyed reading it :) Good luck with the contest!!

This is a very well-crafted 5-7-5 that speaks effectively of a horror no one really knows how to avoid or fix. All the metal detectors, school guards, and police presence in the world can't stop one determined to do evil.
