This is a very sad and emotional poem about the tragedy of the Holocaust. I did not lose any family there, but I sympathize with any people that have endured cruelty. Genocide is the ultimate form of cruelty. The phrasing and word choices convey a deep sense of compassion for the plight of those who suffered.

What a story they will have to share of the peace that only God can give. No more horror stories of pain and death. I like your poem of a possitive note . Thanks.

Hullo Lively Linda ...
In your well-written free-thought presentation, your descriptive words provide your readers with a vivid image of what the poor people at Auschwitz must have endured as they waited to know their fate. The line that impressed me most is the last one ...
"and Heaven awaits them all."
Thank you for writing this and sharing it with us.
Love from .... Nanette Mary.

Man inhumanity to man is still going on, some place in this Christian World. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for an easy read.

Hi Linda,
I read the book called Auschwitz and had hard time reading such a sad story. I couldn't believe what the Germans did to the Jews and I agree those they killed or burned to death should have a place in heaven waiting for them. Once I knew a man who lived through Auschwitz by helping the Germans in their lab. The rest of his family died in the ovens. You have written this story well with stark reality and stunning words, sadly I don't have a six for you. Well done....blessings, chey

It is a horrible story to read, even worse to know it's true. This must never, ever be forgotten. Man's cruelty to another human being. It is no good asking how it could have happened, it did, and that is truth. I hope your poem goes round all the corners of the world! I didn't enjoy it, but I think you did an excellent job in the writing and wish I had a six left to give you. Very well done! xsx
