Thank you! I welcome a challenge as u do with two forms of language. I'm no maya angelou or the great works of any famous aboulishinists. But a novice to poetry and a prisoner to a pen.

Thank you kinddly! I enjoy poetry very much so. This was a challenge for me for it was my first 5-7-5 poem ever written. Poets have a unique gift. They tell a story thru their own eyes and make it believable to another with no fear that its distasteful but more like an opera. Thy learn to appreciate the art of creativity to lose themselves in a place we tookl them without ever knowing. Poetry is power. Let's write some more...

I think that it was very clever. i like the comparison to sound of rain to footsteps coming to the door. very good part of this poem. Making this rhyme is very difficult. the only suggestion i have for the rhyming is to change the word (more) in one of the first to lines to another rhyming word. It would sound better for the flow. Thank you for sharing!

It was simple but challenging. This was my first comprehension and works of a 5-7-5 poem to whom I've shared with fs. Thanks so much for your delightful input and will keep challenging myself with differnts styles of poetry. Its who we are. Creative and daring!
