Lovely Brooke. Nice end rhyming and some great alliteration. A colourful, happy celebration of life. On your recommendation, I visited the poem about the dragon written by our little four year old Fan. Quite delightful! All the best Frances

'As Berries Burst With Juice' is an exceptionally well-written and spiritually uplifting piece. This talented poet has with craft and skill, shown her love and appreciation of the great Creator. It was a pleasure to read and review a work of this standard.

Hi

I fully agree. Natures bounty is a miracle. We have been truly given the Garden of Eden on this Earth. There is nothing as luscious as the fruit from the trees or as tasty as the grains and livestock provided for our harvest and husbandry.

This poem makes me want to eat some raspberries or blackberries! While I like everything about this poem, I really like the alliteration in the first line with "berries burst with juice." The meter seems to be a little different than what you often write and looks like it would be fun to give it a try. As always, this was a pleasure to read, Brooke. Connie

Your poem has very good images and makes me want to have some fruit. Very good description of the vine and all of Nature's blessings. God has given so many blessings and we should all thank Him. Your photo compliments your smooth flowing poem well. Blessings Rita

Dear Brooke, This is a lovely poem of thanksgiving. The picture is perfect for the poem. The meter does feel like a hymn. I bet many old hymns were written in this style, which to me is never a bad thing. Also you made me want it to be spring. Great imagery, Shirley

Marvellous that you have used the meter from the hymn sung in church, that is ergonomic. Lovely sentiments in this poem of Nature producing fruits of the vine and making Creation thine. Lovely descriptive qualities in 'as berries burst with juice'. Lovely regular meter, natural flow and good rhythm and rhyme!

Brooke, it amazes me that you can create something in a traditional form with so much depth imagery and energy. I enjoyed every line of this poem as they built and grew off of each other like fruit sprouting from a stem. Well done on this and thanks for sharing. Take care Adam:)

The dew berry vines have blossoms already down here. Maybe because of the mild winter. Your poem just sings with nature and I like your ending with thanks to the Creator.
