A beautifully written essay on your personal experiences and beliefs, Bev. Nothing is left for us to wonder about - you relate quite clearly the varying emotions and frustrations you dealt with, as well as a candid admission of your brush with suicide and your obsessive disorder.
It takes insight to write like this - an awareness of self. You sound so centred at the end, balanced, reconciled. I am not religious - at least, not in a 'practiced' sense - I have my own beliefs. Even so, I completely related to and understood your relationship with Jesus Christ and absolutely admire the way you have shared this with us.
Great work, my dear friend. I'm not surprised Jesus is keeping an eye on you - you're a pretty special human being.

This is very good. I understand, when I was going through chemo with breast cancer, there were some days, I didn't feel I could go on, but Jesus would put his arm around me and give me the strenght to continue.
