Your poem reminds me of the feeders at the nursing home I used to work at. I really like the words you used as it really brings out the emotional happiness and actions of the simple things in life.

Thanks one lucky finch, having someone looking after him. I loved the way you described the snow falling on the finch.
Great last line about the way the finch tilts his head brings a smile. You do justice to the finch's unique attributes. That's one handsome bird! judi
