This provokes much thought.I'll admit that it made me feel uneasy reading it but poetry is meant to evoke emotions. Where does the soul begin? I have an answer but it's mine that I'll keep.

wow amazing poem.

my favourite stanza's are...

~.~
Destiny guides life within it`s bones
blood and flesh devour
Fervent mass of Gods`s right hand
fell within the hour

that verse above really hit the point on the head.

Autonomy is all but lost
but does man know the cost
Coarse is the heart within the game
the soul now burns with shame
Essence of God or putrid sin
where does the soul begin

Great work on this poem Bicpen, you shall have the thumpers thumping. Lol very clever, interesting and damn thought provoking.

I loved the free verse and written to perfection by a perfectionist deserves six stars.

Your note I loved and though I am not religious was raised as such and it makes one think doesn't it. If goodness is instead in the child why do children kill some are wicked little shits. I get the concept good and bad are present always I think, just the way it is not one is saved from such.

Not my Evan though he is the sweetest baby ever..
Lol innocents yes is instilled I feel but the bad can find its way through any crack as well as the good.

Excellent work on this poem.. Loved your imagery use as well. Thanks for sharing sweetie was a pleasure to read.

Thanks Tammy that means a lot.

I believe the soul is concieved in sin and therfore has the seed of all evil...which explains your statement about children murdering.

During the childs life and throughout I believe common grace is applied but this in and of itself not that grace that redeems a soul. It only allows civility and acts of goodness.

Saving grace is applied when salvation is recieved and delivers from the dominion of sin. In the state of grace the individual is still fighting against sin but it does not hold the same power or dominion over that individual. They are a sinner saved by grace, this is relevant to the judgement of God on their soul as under saving grace they are cleared from guilt in Gods eyes or justified but still struggle against the indwelling sin though sin has no condemnation in Gods eyes of justice.
