This has to be your best work that I have read. I like the rhyming couplets and they tell a chilling but evocative story. It is so clever to call this an interview, which of course it is. This is truly fabulous and you get my last six! Well done, chey

OMG chey, thank you ever so much for the six stars. I am very happy and very proud that you like this piece. I was halfway through what started as a poem, but, it kept growing. I thought about composing this in an interview to give me more latitude with this. I finished the rhyming couplets went back to the beginning to do the interview lead in. then finished it with an explanation and the name of my subject.

Nice approach to a longer story. You rhymed every line but 3. Was that deliberate? It chopped a bit for me in those parts unless you did it intentionally. Well done. Fun piece of fiction

i went back in to look at what went wrong. this came out to my portfolio befoe it was really finished. much different now. thank you for your review and bringing to my attention that rhyming problem,,,,jim

I like how you turned this poem into an interview --
that was quite creative on your part. The only thing
I disagree with you about is why should we, as poets,
feel we have to apologize about asking people to read
long poems when we read long stories all the time?

Jan, thank you for the excellent review. what prompted me to do this in mid stream was I had done a poem with three verses per stanza and had a total 14 stanzas and this guy thought it was too long.

so I said to myself, self let's try this over in the story section and make it a poetic interview story.,,,,,,,,,,,,jim
