your non-fiction story titled A Peaceful Place is extremely well written. Your word structure is very good and as I read vivid imagery filled my head with an exquisite scene. The art work is stunning. In your non-fiction piece you did a great job using the writing devices of alliteration and metaphor. I liked you phases: "cleanses my inner turmoil, washing it away, listening to the call, hearing the rustle of leaves, mesmerized by the waters' flow, created by the splash, the dampness of the earth, with my own authenticity and dreams free the taking." Thanks so much for sharing your non-fiction nature story that gives the reader pause for reflection.I'd recommend your beautifully crafted non-fiction piece to other reviewers. Texas..Ladybird Johnson. Fantastic gardens. After visiting, I feel it's my duty to throw wildflower seeds around to see if I can spread the beauty. Sadly. Only Temporarily.

I feel relaxed and content to walk alongside the stream, listening to the call of the wild birds and hearing the rustle of leaves as a doe with her fawn passes by.Then a loud BANG, BANG, BAN,as my stupid brother dressed in full camo gear, shot his gun killing both the doe and her baby fawns...Real smart you dumb arse now look at the mess you made..Its not even hunting season, I am tellen Mom...Ron

This is very nice piece, describing the experience of being at one with nature as you sit or walk by a stream.
I also love doing this, reading your poem I am tempted to drive an hour to a beautiful spot I recently found and experience this again.
I think I will settle for reading your writing full of great imagery.
