Well Sandra my friend, I don't think it would be long before Timmy and Tammy become a popular story among children, great poem with superb rhyming. Just one suggestion if you don't mind...make the poem shorter, with your extraordinary talent, I know you could still maintain the theme. God bless.

Your poem about Timmy and Tommy is very creative and has nice imagination. They will make good books for the children and I know they will enjoy them. You don't nee them illustrated they paint the image in ones mind. But I know what you mean I did so enjoy this. Blessings Rita

This is another really sweet chapter. I think the characters will go over in a big way with children.
I enjoyed the story from start to cozy end with the Elves.

I have one small question:

In the first line, it reads Reggie the Rat was sat on a log. Is that the way it should read? 'was sat' sounds unusual to my ear.

This is a wonderful chapter. Great writing. :-)

Hi Sue,firstly, thank you for your great review. I have sat here going over that sentence, trying to put it another way. I am not sure how I could change it to actually tell the reader what Reggie was doing when Tommy came by looking fo his brother. This is a hard one, do you have any suggestions? I honestly do appreciate it when someone reviewing my work does come up with a query, that is what reviewing is all about. I will carry on thinking about it during the day, Thank you for your comments, greatly appreciated. xsx Sandra.

Reggie the Rat (who) sat on a log

Reggie the Rat, (he) sat on the log

It can be vexing trying to pick out just the right word!

I enjoyed reading your stories very much sandra. They are cleverly written and very well thought out. I'm sure children will love reading and having this story read to them.

I bet if children were read one of your lovely rhyming stories every night, the world would be awash with poets! The flow is never interrupted whilst still telling a great story about things children (and this adult!) can relate to. Well done! Alexis x

I think that this fun story in a poem should appeal to children. Should get published in my opinion. Great meter and rhyme. All the best Jennie.

Fanciful and entertaining! Even though your story was written in rhyme, it was still easy to follow, and moved along at a good pace. I liked the tension as the elves grew close, and then the resolution at the end, where Reggie got his comeuppance.
Good work, irish
