Oops! Your poem is not a 5-7-5. The 5-7-5 calls for 3 lines only, of 5, 7, and 5 syllables. I hope you can fix it because, as it is, it does not qualify for this contest.

There may not be a contest for your poem right now. But you can post your poem without putting it in a contest. You will just have to change the title, because you can't repost something that's already been posted by the same title. Reviewers will still be able to read and rate it. It just won't be in a contest. Or maybe you can wait until a Children's Poem contest comes up and enter it in that.

This is a very good start in your journey as an author/writer. It was very good of you to provide the helpful translation of terms from your country that your poem contained so readers unfamiliar with your language and customs might not have understood otherwise. Keep writing, you have a bright future! Thank you for sharing.

Because of our different speech I found this difficult to read. If you take the time to explain Aussi-wari in your author's notes, readers of your poem would know what you are talking about and you have marked it as children poety - more confused am I, is it a song or a poem? Americans are not into cricket like we are, thus they may not understand this. Get writing on your author's notes and educate your readers. Apart from that, I liked it and encourage you to write more! Maybe you would like to write about India, we readers love to learn about other countries. Good Luck son.

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

I love this. It sings to me as any good song should. It is obviously in a dialect that is not mine but It must be Jamaican. I have people who work with me that speak that dialect and I always tell them I need a translator. But this poem is exceptional in the way it is written. It is very comprehensible despite the dialectic challenge to the reader. It is well worth a six, I believe.

Thank you so much for sharing it. Best of fortunes with future postings of your work here.

Dude, you got serious issues with the Aussies. This is a writers' site. Enjoy the poetry, immerse yourself into some great novels. Writing was discovered to make a change in this world, to spread the message of peace. Take my advice, stick to writing classic literature instead of Cricket Kolaveri.

First off I don't think this matches the 5-7-5 guidelines for the contest. Based on that I would say it needs work. Taking that premise out I liked the pace but the repeating why is aussi-wari, aussi-wari, so weak part really started to get to me after reading it. I think you either should not repeat the line twice ore only have on aussi-wari in each line. It really takes over the poem the way you have it. Other than that good luck in the contest.
