Hi Barbara:)
Another great chapter,
Poor Anna, she just can't accept what a good mother she is. Her self-doubts are the usual result of an early marriage and an abusive husband. In addition she lacked the support of her own family. She has nothing to show her what is required of a good mother, although she should be getting the right Idea from Troy's mother and family.

This is an excellent example of the trials of keeping children Safe. No one can anticipate all accidents and unusual events, but Anna is learning.

Troy would have received a tetanus shot even if the dogs shots were up-to-date.

Now the owner of the loud mufflers needs to be found.

Love and Irish hugs,

Roger

Thank you, I have considered that he would need a tetnus shot unless his is up to date. I have that written in the next post.

Barbara, your post is flawlessly written. I've had bones in each of my feet broken by a hundred-pound German Shepherd. Stuff happens. Well done. Merry Christmas. :) Nancy

What a scare and dogs tend to go for biscuits , especially when kids are holding them. They seem to sense that they are easy targets. Good in a way that Troy got the bite- but what a big one. It would have been a disaster if it had bitten the toddler. Anna gets scared straight away that she will be blamed again. What a sad life still. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year as well. Did not know you had two big dogs. We just have a small one now as we are getting older.

Surely you can do good poems, why not? Someforms are easy to do.

The dog bite has really shaken Anna. She feels like a failure as a mother. I'm worried that Bobby's mother will hear about the incident and use it to try to get Michael from his mother. The boy should have retained better control of the dog. This incident could lead to serious consequences for both Anna and the boy.

Wow, thank-God Michael was okay. I'm sorry Troy got bit but better him than the child--that's just my view and all. Well written my friend and very realistically done.

The main point that comes across, from my point of view, is the guilt and fear Anna feels at the thought that actions, however much out of her control, could possibly mean that she could lose her child. I'm sure that this is just another example of how an abused wife must feel. Well done for bringing it to the fore!
