Hahaha I have no idea how I even came up with the chicken thing. I think I was just trying to think of the most ridiculous possible thing. Thank you again for all of these reviews. I'm so excited that you're enjoying this story, and I absolutely love reading your thoughts on each chapter!

this reads so well and is typical of the sort of schoolboy pranks that were commonplace in English boarding schools during their "hey days" in the 1950's and 1960's
