No one ever told me to switch my engagement ring to my right hand the day of the wedding so the band could go on the inside. My engagement ring stays on the inside and band on the outside. I've always been opposite I guess. I had the big church wedding with dj. Our friend did our photos for us because she had a side business where she did it so we got a deal but I bet we spent way more than you. I won't lie. I'm glad I had the whole wedding thing but I'm also glad it's a once in a lifetime thing. I was exhausted that night.

Thanks for your kid review, Ine. Have a great second part of the week. I wished we had, but we had family and friends in two countries.

To robina1978,
This was a quick glance of your vows and the wonderful way you both received one another in the mist of winter time.
Your tradition of exchange of rings, I found very nice gesture.

This is an well written piece we have here, but there are some clumsy sentences as well
This one below:
"if my English skills were up to par - which they were in his opinion" "They" is usually a reference to people.
I would say "if my English skills were up to par - which in his opinion was confirmed,"
Other wise very good.

She had to be there as six this morning.
Yes I am a bit nervous but she is in good hands.

Hi Ine. I love this writing. You have a lovely way of
telling your story with a nice flow and very entertaining. I had to smile about the rings. It happened to me also once.
Not my wedding ring, but just a ring....
And that thing about the knifes... I saw it happening before my eyes. Things you never forget. Great write my friend. Liefs Fia

months! it's a long story, so i won't go
there. another splendiferous write,
Dutchess Ine. hope the next chapter's
not gonna be too informative! lol.

This is a very nice beginning to a successful marriage. God bless. The atmosphere of the wedding ceremony and cutting the steaks with a blunt knife! Great details.

What an introduction to the Scottish language and what a start to being married with having your ring cut off! (In paragraph six, "clothes" lost its "e.") How clever of you to leave us in suspense about your honeymoon weekend! -Joan
