I could feel your pain an regret. I thought that you chose your words very carefully, so as to stick within the structure of the verse, but still ger your message and emotions. This is very powerful; this is a tragic tale that plays out time and again in all parts of the world. Easy to read and follow; imagery is excellent.

A very sad story, but you tell it quite well. The count is correct and the descriptions vivid. I liked this stanza the best:

I can imagine the bitterness and agony of divorce lasting for a long time and influencing a man or woman's perspective regarding love and romance for years to come. Sadly nobody really knows when they set out in marriage, what the future holds. You sum it up beautifully here. Well done

Well written poem with perfect rhyming words and developed verses. The flow of the poem is smooth, however it is sad read. Why divorces happen, wish if it would not.

I can really relate to you powerful poem. You have done an amazing job of showing the pain and stress of divorce. The rhythm is consistent and the syllable count too. So much hurt comes through and it es expressed very well. I'm sorry for all you've had to go through. Marriage and divorce are both very very hard. The imagery is powerful.
