You created a wonderful setting with a detailed description of a beautiful woodland area, which was enhanced by colour and scent, a perfect backdrop for a lovers tryst. Good luck.

your poem is extremely well written and rich in poetic imagery with excellent rhyme. Splendid use of metaphors along with great use of alliteration enhance your poem. The lines that stood out for me: "Colorful wild flowers sprout here and there, The scent of purple lilacs fills the air. Warm sunshine bathes me as I lift my face, To feel Mother Nature`s peaceful embrace. A light breeze caresses my sun kissed skin." Wow, fabulous descriptive detail. The art work is exquisite you used. I'd recommend this superb poem to other reviewers. I wish you good luck in the IDYLL (Idyl) Poems contest with your creative poem. Keep on writing mighty fine nature poetry. I want to go there! This is an absolutely beautiful and oh, so serene poem. I just sighed a sigh of loveliness. I haven't read any of the other's yet but I can tell you this, You have set the bar extremely high for this contest!

An excellent smooth flowing poem with good rhyme which made good reading. It's the privilege of poets to see the beauty in nature while others just pass by. Your poetic eye and poetic sense produced a fine poem. May I suggest a subtle change? In stanza one you're describing the scene appealing to the eye. But, in the last line you brought in the scent of the lilac. I think if you stick to colors in the first stanza and move the scent to the second stanza, it will be more logical and add value to your poem.

'Interlude' is a pretty poem. Your words set a pretty picture of reconnecting with Mother Nature. It gets to be sort of a nutty situation when I read those last 3 lines, but it works. That matters too. Good luck in the contest.
