I know your penning by the read yet your pin name I don't recognize as I feel it has changed. Your writing hasn't by the way. Keep going.

    Hi, foxangie123

Thanks for taking time to read my chapter and review so generously. I appreciate the support.

I haven't changed my name, but maybe when I signed the note WFD, that may have been confusing. It's
just my way of shortening writingfundimension.

    Take care!

This is first time reading this chapter, or really any part of the book. But i find this very well written and a great story line with all the ghost hunting shows out there today. So far I find the writing just great, I' want to read more now.

This is your adolescent novel, I think. It's an adventure kids would get into. Reminds me a bit of the Nancy Drew novels I used to read as a kid. Good characters, with real lives. Well done, Bev.

Ah... not the market I was intending, Adrienne. But certainly nothing to keep them from reading either. I believe the novel you're thinking of is Stand Strong, my Christian teen novel.

    I loved Nancy Drew!

Thanks for reading and for your generous review.

Hi Bev, this is really outstanding writing. No six left I'm afraid. I haven't any of this book before so I have just fallen into the story as it were, but I had no problem catching to the spirit of things. The instant I read about the cat I thought there was something not quite right here and it turned out I was right. A very interesting topic here. Looking forward to read on. All the best. Ulla:))

Bev, this is another exceptional post. I've been missing these young people and their very tough battle with an evil spirit.

The tension is palpable from the start. Even the driving is under poor conditions. Loved the phrase, "...lifting everyone into the air like handfuls of confetti..."

Love the passage of Mia calling on a higher power for strength. That her prayers were answered immediately adds relevance and authenticity to your story.

As a reader, I appreciated the insight into Emma's point of view. It's totally understandable that she desires to extricate herself from the hell the team has been faced with.

As a cat lover, I really appreciate the introduction of the soft, fuzzy critter to relieve the tension of the most bizarre day.

Now it seems that the girls are in trouble and perhaps in danger in their now locked bedroom. Such a cliff hanger, Bev.

Superbly done. You do this genre like no other. Write on, sister!

Hi, Marietta. Thanks so very much for this awesome review. I had you in mind when I introduced Mage. If I wasn't allergic, I'd probably have an exotic, very expensive feline -- of course!

It's very kind of you to take time from your travels to take a look see. Your generosity and support mean a lot to me, my friend. I'm glad that my desire to give Emma's character turned out to be a good decision, too. One never knows!

Been enjoying your photos. Looking forward to the chance to nosh and reminisce.

YIKES! What an ending! As soon as the hotel owner aid she hoped they wouldn't bring anything back with them I guessed that they would, in fact, and it seems they have! Oh Bev, what a cliff hanger!

As always, your chapter I rich with action and detail. I love how you always add the information we need to know where they are - no 'talking heads', as Jay put it to me over one of my stories - it's so important! Once again, a fabulous write - truly outstanding, but I'm afraid I ran out of sixes on Sunday!

Hi, Dawn. Thank so much for this awesome review! I really appreciate your staying with this story. My husband is the originator of that quote, actually. He always told me when I'd head out on an investigation not to bring something home. Unfortunately, there's not a lot you can do to prevent that from happening. Once you know, of course then out comes the sage and holy water!

Good to see this novel back and running, Bev. You haven't posted it in a while, have you? I've always enjoyed this novel. I can look back on all your novels and other posts here and there's a thread of the paranormal in all, right?

    Hi, Jay

You've, indeed, picked up on a passion of mine. My involvement started when I had a vision of my mother's death at the age of six. A haunting experience during my 15th year pretty much solidified it for me. I don't know whether I consider psychic ability a curse or a blessing. At times, it's both. Writing about it helps me get a better handle on my own experiences.

Thanks for the support, Jay. And also the corrections. Always appreciate your watchful eye.

So you're gonna leave me hanging on your 15th year. I understand if it's personal.

I don't mind sharing, Jay. I spent a decade or so focusing on my career and marriage. It wasn't until my 30's when I explored methods of healing using my insights. That was followed by a decade or so doing readings for people and working with a partner doing paranormal investigating. During that time, I had a life-altering experience with shamanism. Without ever having used drugs, I've seen some pretty amazing and very scary things involving other realms. To the point that I had to seek professional help to deal with the resultant anxiety. So, I've learned to be more discerning about where and how to use my 'gifts'. I believe there's a good reason why these realms are not readily accessible.

That's my life in a nutshell!

Wow! I'm impressed--and I know the last thing you wanted was to impress me. I've always admired those sensitives who can peek into other realms, but I agree about the need for the "guardians of the realms". Thanks for sharing, Bev.

Events at the Manor take their toll. A chapter in the book Paranormal Adventures. At the Precipice.' I enjoyed the reading of your great chapter dealing with the paranormal, Bev. I found it extremely interesting and almost forbidding. Now I'm not so sure whether I'm agnostic or not. Very well done.

Hey Bev,
Great job with your updated post. I say that because of your descriptive details that were engaging and made hair on my arms stand up. I could really identify with Mia and the toll it is taking on her. 8-)

I like it when hair stands up! Not so much when it's my own, though. hehehe
