I enjoyed reading your poem about Crystal Gayle. It is cleverly written and very well thought out, robina. I'm not an expert on ode's but I enjoyed it.

Great poem. A tribute to a great singer and at the same time how you and your husband enjoy this. It's lovely you can share it with each other during the precious moments. So romantic.
I loved this poem and the artwork was beautiful. Well done.
Liefs Fia.

This is real interesting. It was just yesterday I was thinking about her and wondering if she was still alive. Nice poem and of course, her voice was something and that hair, nothing like it. Thanks.

To robina1978,
A lovely randition of your tribute to a country singer who has experienced trials and remained true to herself.
As a free verse the only thing I don't understand "to matrimony. Please explain what you mean.

A thoughtful tribute to a woman whose artistry has obviously meant so much to you and your husband and your romantic relationship over the years. I like how you incorporate some of her song titles.

A nice tribute to Crystal, Ine. It's nice that her music is something you have shared with your husband over the years. To add music, go to youtube, click share, embed, copy and paste into the author's notes. Should work. You can try it under the preview mode before you release a work. Av

Wasn't Crystal a half sister to Loretta Lynn?
"Don't it make my brown eyes blue" was the only version I liked.
Since you picked Chrystal to write about, you have my vote of five stares.
I like these sentiments:
and so we still adore you
for ever and always

Very sweet poem; a great tribute to her, a legend in her own right. Did you know she was Lorreta Lynn's sister? This poem is also a nice tribute to your marriage as well. The artwork compliments the poem very nicely.

Yes, she is famous for her hit, "I'm just a coal miner's daughter". And "You ain't woman enough to take my man". They made a movie about her life starring Sissy Spacek. The title is "Coal miner's daughter, after the song. She was a hit during the 70's.
