Dear dacriter, I think your lines are real poetry.You describe things as if they don't concern you but the bitterness speaks about pain deeply in heart.It's a pity that the syllable are not correct.But if you try to do this may be you will be surprised how the diamond could shine.

You have made a mistakes the form is 5 syllables, 7 syllables and 5 syllables not 5 words, 7 word, and 5 words.
