This is a strong, clearly written chapter. By that I mean, I came into the story right here, with no background. I was still able to thread together the plotline and the characters.
I liked the way you describe the healing. I imagine everyone does it differently, but I don't 'see' the healing, I feel it.
I also don't know how much you know about protection in these realms. Tossing salt around you in a circle is thought to be protective. So is crossing over water. Stones with natural holes in them make good amulets. So do certain plants, such as basil.
Anyway. You are doing well with your write. I am by no means an expert, but if you need any help with the metaphysical, I would be glad to share what I have experienced.

Hi, animatqua. Thanks so much for your generous review and supportive insights. I will, for sure, take you up on your offer if I get stuck on the metaphysics. I have described the energy healing as I personally experience it when working with my clients. I both feel and see; but as you say, everyone experiences it differently. Thanks for reminding me about the other protective devices. Hadn't heard about the stones with natural holes - that is truly fascinating! You are most kind and I appreciate your support.
