You managed to capture, with a lot of information, the essence of all of our fears. I have tendency to sometimes dwell on the negative when I am anxious, and we are getting plenty of information to substantiate the fears.

It was fascinating to read your reactions to economic conditions on the other side of the Atlantic. They parallel ours and there will be a "prayer day" in Texas this weekend. ("To" in "Don't worry too much" needs another "o" and "anymore" picked up a space.) I liked the way you answered the question posed in your title. -Joan

Clever piece of work. Well I wasn't glad at all when the Euro was introduced.It's becoming worse. We have to pay now for impoverished countries. Why are they ever allowed? They knew they were poor. I find this piece more suitable for a blog entry, or a commentary at best, and I would not call it a short story or a poem. If posted as short story it should probably follow the layout of a story, with paragraphs longer than one sentence. But even so I would still maintain that this should be a blog entry, rather than a story.

I did not post it as poetry dear-could you please look again.Think flash fiction should be a short story.It is a short story about history.

It can help and will. It may not change the whole world,but if you read of Joseph,Daniel,Elijah and many others they not only were kept through hard times but because they were,many others were helped too. Keep praying,it does make a difference,very well done.

I don't understand much about politics and big finance
I only know that the rich seem to get richer and the poor poorer
that can't be right can it
I am sure if enough of the world leaders thought more about their people and less about power this world would be a better place
I also think as long as others can hope and pray for a better solution in the end something will change

The world economy's are run by fiction. We talk currency up. That is the trouble today too much talking down by leaders who don't really understand the system. It is simple stability is hope and trust and confidence. Without these things we have nothing. A United Europe was John F Kennedy's dream and it is still right today. The Libyan leader said when faced with sanctions so long as we have date trees we will not starve. You can't eat gold and as they found once in Germany anything of any value will be traded for food. God bless.
