It truly does, in a blink of an eye. Our lives can be in such a fast pace until the rains come, watch us run for cover fast. We stop what we are doing don't we?

This is oh so true but we best think about it and we best get ourselves lined up with God's instructions and do what He tells us to do in order to help prevent something worse. There is much said in such few words. God bless.

I use haiku to force myself to be economical with words. It's great writing practice. - Tom

What a lovely poem. I would not change a word of it. Iknow we are supposed to find something that needs improvement but this poem does not need improvement. At least, not to me.

Haiku is particularly tought to get everything you want to say in 17 syllables. It took me a long paragraph to get it to do what I wanted it to. Haiku is wonderful at teaching a writer to be economical with words.
