The poem is a great call to arms for a sorry state of affairs. Unhappy history is relayed in a tight poem. The rhyming is good and not forced.

Thank you for the review. I wrote this some time back as referenced in the Prop 187 remark, I in no way intend it as a call to arms only to educate on the historical errors of the past so as not to repeat them.

In interesting poem. I have always been fascinated with the people of South America, finding them colourful and mysterious. I have heard the term Chicano but did not know what it really meant, or how they have been viewed and treated. It's nice to read poetry that educates in some way.
